From Santa Tags

I miss the little details I use to put into Christmas for my kids.  Now that they have gotten older I just wrap prettier…boring!!!  I was so good at wrapping the Santa gifts so they would look like the came from Santa’s Workshop.  I hid the wrapping paper, used special tags, tied big fun bows, totally over the top.  They had no clue!  Now I am enjoying it once again for my nieces and nephew.

Don’t forget the little things.  Here are a few Santa tag ideas for you to use.   I am sure some of you creative type can create you own version… Make Christmas extra special for you little ones.

Halloween Treat bags out of Dollar Spot Deals

Hello my name is PJ and I’m a sucker for the Dollar Spot section of Target!  Who isn’t?  You can find just about anything in that section for your holiday needs.  Right now, it’s full of fun and fabulous Halloween themed items!  I’m always trying to find new ways to dress up treat bags for my kids to take to their classes.  I swear their is a secret competition between the moms in the classes to see who makes the cutest/coolest goody bag!   Well, here is my latest goody bag creation.  I got the bags at the Dollar Spot section of Target. They came in quantities of 4 per package.  I then just added some plain cardstock borders that I punched out with various Martha Stewart Halloween punches. I also used those border punches to make the rosettes and lastly added some tulle and twine that I had lying around.

Project Life Sketch Challenge

Project Life Sketch Challenge ~ August.

Sometimes you need a little guidance… we all need it from time to time.  It’s been known to happen, sometimes….rarely…on occasion, but when I am creating I hit a total roadblock…. like a total blank!  While I sit in my craft room surrounded by tons of supplies and inspiration there should be no reason for this lack of creativity. With Project Life being fairly new I knew it would be hard to find a sketch book already out.. (what’s a sketch book?  Think along the lines of recipes for food).  Sketches usually have some sort of layout and then you interpret it however you want.  The heavens answered my prayers and someone instagrammed a sketch group online!!!!

Check out this month’s August sketch

Project Life August Sketch

Now here are two of my interpretations on this design.

Project Life + Crafty Bands + Martha Stewart = Scrapbooking Bliss

We just can’t get enough of Crafty Bands and Project Life… sprinkle in a little Martha Stewart and BAM! Scrapbooking BLISS.

Craftybands project life bcuzuluvme

Now you all know we just can’t get enough of our Crafty Bands tool.  It makes the perfect embellishment for your Project Life cards.  And let’s face it, it’s hard to find embellishments that are the perfect size for the 3×4 or 4×6 inserts.  Basically its perfection and we are in love with it… so don’t act all surprised when you see us use it the rest of the week!!!

Now where is the Martha Stewart you ask????  See the Martha Stewart labels?  I used the bottom label and had some white space left on the bottom of the sticker sheet.  I stamped the date with my date stamp and stuck it on my project life card.  Don’t throw away good sticker sheet trash!!  Now go create with your Crafty Bands tools and if you don’t have one… sorry charlie you need to get one!

Our little green pickle card

With bumps and all!  If you bought an Inspiration Kit this month this little green card was in there!  Her we are showing you one way you could use it.  We used our 1/2 doily as a pocket of sorts and added some info tags to it!  If you are a P-Lifer it will slide right into your page protector sleeve if not you can stick it on the front of a greeting card and BOOM done!
